Herbal compress massage is classic Thai massage assisted by aromatherapy. Hot herbal compresses containing a blend of therapeutic herbs are used to heat the muscles. Herbs include eucalyptus leaves, lemongrass, medicinal ginger, camphor, turmeric, guajava, tamarind and galangal.

This form of massage works in a similar way to Chinese cupping therapy, improving the immune system and cleansing the body of toxins.
